so the last few days since being home, i ripped out the last of the old interior that was still in the car, with the help of my 3yr old son

and the last 2 days i have picked up a few parts for the interior but im mostly waiting for mini in the park to get everything else

    im looking for a
all black headliner, black door cards,
and some sound mat, black carpet

im not sure yet if im gonna build my door cards and cover them in black vinly or just buy some

but 2 days ago i picked up this fiberglass dash, its just mocked up in their for now, but its gonna be painted flat black like the rest of the car when im done

i got a lead on a somewhat built up d16 honda engine, but the guy im getting it from is alittle short on time right now,
and his new b-series engine is still being built, so its gonna be a good few weeks before im able to get the d16 from this guy
but i still need to go and find a few other honda parts to make this swap a go but its gonna be a few months before im gonna be ready to
    start the engine swap

today i cut up one of my stock tan seats, im gonna try and use the lower half of the seat frame as a subframes for my new seats,
so far i have to section about 7inches out of the backside to fit the new seats right, so thats gonna move the hook spot, so i may have to
section the front side also and i also want to off set the seats so its mounted to the center of the car more on the drivers side to put the driver more centered to the steering wheel because i don't like feeling like im sitting to the side of the wheel

if i can't get them to fit right, i'll just go and buy the subframes for them and call it a day
