I'm back but sloowly -no talking
JBL stands for James B. Lansing ,around since the early 50's -stands for quality(1st class stuff) theater speakers etc.
the "B" stands for Bull(ough)-I think
for sound deadening I'VE used Rubatex for years (since '78) high heat range .black good sound deadener 3/8 1/2 or 3/4 thk X 48" wide , I can easily pick up a 250sq ft roll -I'll weigh a piece - I think I did for "the other forum"

Hooray Pepper! Glad to hear from you again. I am assuming that you have been in the Hospital? You sound in good spirits; I hope you are on the mend.
In my business, JBL is the worlds largest spear gun manufacturer; cheap and low quality though(mostly for tank divers). I almost sold out my business to the new owner; should have, but got greedy.
I have used Rubatex for years also; but for wet suits, not sound deadener. It has become very expensive in recent years. Do you glue it down in the car, or just lay it in? I used to buy it from the factory in Santa Fe springs (LA), but I think they have been gone now for several years. Do you still have a source pepper?
Hang in there man; I'm glad to see you are back.
