Tell me about it. On I -81 whilst flat towing to "West Meets East" in Rockford, IL, my left front wheel departed the hub, never to be seen again.

May be, but that's awful tight for a 3/8" Brit spec fastener. I never had one come loose at a good bit lower torque, nor ever broke one.
