i understand it's good to be organized, but when there are more forums than discussion....it begs the question why?

I think this forum, though a bit spread out, has some important advantages over the MM and 16 V sites:
1) no sponsor conflict-of-interest bias limiting what you can say or sell
2) American based site for American builders and owners to help source parts and services.
3) easy photo posting, both in message threads and your own personal photo Gallery
4) a single place where each Honda frame/kit manufacturer moderates their own space; free advertising space and easy comparison shopping for new VTEC swappers.
Please take advantage of it, it's free

I fully agree, Steve. I am grateful for the 16v site, but the eurocentricism of that site makes it a bit difficult to sift through. I think the clarity and focus of this site is welcome and helpful.

i have to agree with Steve and Magic on this one...having many thread topics is a good thing because you can easily sift through the topics that you are really interested in or care to read....personally, when i visit the 16V site, i really only care to look in the General Queries and Honda sections....

i've started and operated a couple forums. as with most, they usually get off to a slow start. from my experience, i've found that it's best to plan ahead and have a set structure. this helps with the organization of the forum in the long run. also, this forum is still very new and has not be promoted heavily. in time, hopefully it will pick up.

Hey guys,
I just found this site and immediately signed up. Too many forums? Not for me. I like how easy it is to pinpoint specific topics and I agree that being a US spec site makes it more relevent to me. I enjoy reading 16V, but there are times I don't feel like wading through Vauxhall mods or other Eurocentric posts in hopes of gaining info. pertaining to my project.
Many, many thanks for your efforts on this site!
