16V Or VTEC Mini Meet

This is gonna take some work and planning, but lets try to have a Meet sometime in 08'. Would love to see a bunch of VTEC's or 16V Minis together at the same time....No "A" Series please!!! Is anyone interested???

Hi all, I live near " THE DRAGON", and we hosted the Mini Meet East here this summer. I would be happy to arrange a place to stay and help with pulling it off. Discussion about when would need to happen first. Thanks, Mike.

the dragon is a lot of fun, i have never driven it in a mini but have with my mg conversions. next summer, july of 2008, the british conversion group is having their annual meet in WI south of milwaukee and not to far from chicago. this group started out mostly as mg v8er's but has grown to any brit car with a swap. 2 years agos we had the meet in townsend TN on the dragon and one member from FL came in his rear engine vtec mini. it would be great to see a bunch of minis on the track and at the autox and how quick they would be over the 302 powered mgb's. just a thought for everyone. oh, and hello everyone, jim

I would definitely love to do it at a track event so we could really see these cars perform. The dragon is one thing, but the track is king!

great IDEA but lets try to do this meet in the middle of USA as I am in NEW MEXICO
an do it around minis in Vegas and minis in the Mountains in CO... you should all try in make those
great Roads an all kinds of funn

Being that I live in Kansas City, I would naturally think that anything midwest would be very cool. Something in the fall would be great in the midwestern states as its so hot and humid from June to late August. Both Missouri and Arksansas has some remarkable twisties/hills, not too different from the dragon. Eureka Springs, Arkansas is a pretty interesting historic town with fabulous rollercoaster hills and banked curves. Lots of sport bikes and auto enthusiasts trekking to that area in the autumn.

Yikes! I just noticed how old this thread is. Everyone already knows that Minimania is hosting a Vtec event at their Nevada City HDqrtrs in 2008. Sounds fun, but I'm probably booked with work obligations that weekend.

Yikes is right. I slept thru this one too. The west coast is too far for me in a good year and I have to pay off some shoulder surgery, so I'm cutting 'way back on car stuff this year.
