Well I guess Ill be the first MiniTec'er to post on this forum...I will be ordering a MTB2 conversion this week! I payed a visit to MiniTec last year in the fall and all I can say is WOW...B.J. took me for a test ride and I was hooked immediately! I will be posting my progress as soon as the kit comes in.

be sure to keep us posted! i've yet to see a progress or finished build with the mtb2 frame.

btw, does anyone know if their front flip hood can still be used with the mtb2? i can't remember, but i believe b.j. mentioned some sort of extension was required.

Best I understood, the MTB2 does NOT require extending the front.

Post pictures please! I think many are interested.

I ordered one of these a while ago, it should arrive this week! I am a lazy bastard and ordered the kit built, with everything pre-assembled ... I'll definitely keep you posted on the build. Funtimes!

You order the kit pre-assembled?! definitely keep us posted on your build. pre-assembled subframe w/ everything on it sounds like pretty good.

or did you mean you had them build you a complete car?

No, you got it right! I bought the subframe with pretty much everything attached to it:

Motor, Tranny, Suspension, Super brakes, radiator, ECU, Harness, Cotton Candy, etc.

I'll post pics and junk when it arrives! Should be any day now! AAAA!

It seemed like a pretty good deal; you get practically all the parts for the same price as if you'd bought them individually. Almost. :)

Quckcarnut,

Good to see a fellow D-series pilot. I was beginning to think that I'm the member of a one-man group.
